Previous Weddings and Events
This is a guide to our previous weddings and events! Here you’ll find a curated collection showcasing the creativity, attention to detail, venue dressing and exceptional service that goes into every celebration we design. From elegant weddings to lively birthday bashes and corporate gatherings, we believe every occasion deserves to be celebrated in style!
Over the last 14 years there have been continues changes in themes and styles of which we constantly keep up to date with. We have been at the top of the tree for providing room decor for weddings and events throughout the North West and sometimes further afield when needed. Our 5 star reviews and achievements gained within the industry speak for themselves.
We have worked at hundreds of venues all over the North West on previous weddings. Including such places as York, The Lake District, Somerset, Wales, Leeds and Sheffield. We gather a substantial amount of knowledge from each wedding venue. This becomes advantageous as it enables us to provide you with some fundamental details when booking your venue dressing.
Just the elementary features of the venues are overlooked by couples when deciding upon the decor. For instance…..The height of the ceiling, and will the decor looked too cramped in the room. How many plug sockets are on the walls, when looking at adding in room draping and lighting effects. What size tables do the venue offer, and will your guests fit comfortably around them.
These simple yet crucial little elements of your venue can compromise the overall design and outcome of what you are looking to achieve.
Take into account the colours you have decided upon and recognize which venue would be the most appropriate to encapsulate the style and design. If you are looking to incorporate bold bright colours into your decor, a blank canvas venue such as a marquee is unmatched. The white background of the marquee will empower the colours and make your decor stand out.
For those rustic venues, greenery and pampas grass are often overlooked and can be a crucial component to mimic the surroundings. Soft pastel shades are most fitting when adding in texture rather than bright colours.
Castles and Stately homes lend themselves to charm and grandeur. So copious amounts of candles, and extravagant floral displays on staircases, around doorways, fireplaces and even on the reception tables make for a luxurious and stylish design. The photo opportunities can be truly wondrous with such incredible floral backdrops.
At the other end of the spectrum with locations such as Golf Clubs, Village Halls, Hotel rooms, you may find an abundance of plaques, large pictures, notice boards etc that adorn the walls. Most of which can be very unsightly. From previous weddings, we can resolve this issue by installing room draping to cover the walls. Then add in some soft coloured lighting to match your colour scheme. By doing this, your venue takes a complete transformation and the end result is truly breathtaking.
The room decor is an integral part of your wedding, and if misjudged and not done correctly, can have a negative impact on the most important day of your life.
