The Beaches Hotel Prestatyn

The Beaches Hotel in Prestatyn was the chosen venue to host the wedding of Natalie and Mel’s wedding. Boasting an eye catching view from a sea front position with the sun shining on the sand, it made for the perfect backdrop.

Mel hired us to create her magical setting to surprise her Bride to be, and chose a neutral yet elegant theme to work on for the decorations.  After designing the elements for the venue dressing, we got the go ahead to transform the room into a fairy tale wedding ceremony.

Natalie was kept away from the room with Mel taking the lead so as to ensure everything was just how she imagined. With our team of venue dressing experts at hand, the day began by keeping out prying eyes.

The doors were closed and we got to work unloading the van of all the decor. This included huge centrepiece flowers, aisle carpets, chair covers, sashes, a beautifully made split moon arch, flower wall, and a range of floral decorations for the wedding ceremony and reception.

The Beaches Hotel Wedding Ceremony

At the Beaches Hotel, when you walk down the aisle to meet your loved one, it has to be the most special day of your life. The memories, tears and smiles are all part of the journey into married life. Even the most hardy of people will shed a tear when they see their future husband or wife being led down the aisle to meet them. Its nothing to be ashamed of, emotions run high and the overriding sense of happiness kicks in.

Creating that setting is what we are highly competent at doing. With over 14 years in the industry our knowledge of understanding the dreams of the wedded couple along with the best way to implement the wedding decor has seen us achieve great accolades over the years. This was no exception!

The sage and emerald green colours in the flowers and chair sashes mimicked the Bridesmaids dresses, bouquets and buttonholes ensuring the theme ran seamlessly throughout the ceremony.

Natalie and Mel faced each other proudly at the registrars table ready to take their vows. Strategically stood in front of the hand made floral split moon arch as a backdrop for their photos. The readings and pronounced official marriage was cheered with delight by the guests.

To finalize the vows all the guests were invited to take a place on the patio area at the back of the hotel to witness the release of the white doves over the sea. A fitting finale to a stunning ceremony.

Commonly known as the “Wedding Reception”, the “Wedding Breakfast” is a traditional term used to refer to the first meal eaten together after officially tying the knot.

The Wedding Breakfast

For a quick turnaround at the Beaches Hotel,  our team of venue dressers swiftly moved all the decor to modify the room layout, ready for the welcoming of the new married couple. Tables and chairs were moved into place, the decorations from the ceremony were relocated onto the tables and any remaining decor was removed.

Natalie and Mel were greeted with a massive applause upon entering the room as the new happy couple. Surrounded by a room of sublime floral displays, flower walls for photo opportunities, and a top table covered with the flowers from earlier.

The food and drinks were flowing well into the meal with speeches that brought about feelings of love and happiness for each other, family and friends that all made the day extremely special.

The party continued well into the night with evening guests arriving ready for the DJ to pump out some refreshing tunes. Everyone was dancing, drinking and spending endless hours chatting about the day.
