The Wedding Ceremony
The aisle was adorned with a full length wide white aisle runner fully decorated either side with an abundance of candles, blossom trees and petals. Finishing off with a huge petal love heart upon approach to the registrars table.

Setting the Scene
The Great Hall at Peckforton Castle is a truly unique and historic setting for gathering in for your wedding ceremony. Especially ideal for those added extra touches of decor. To encapsulate the surroundings, candles will play a huge part of the wedding day.
Just as in times of old, they bring the venue to life, recreating the charm and character of years gone by. There is nothing more beautiful than walking down the aisle surrounded with lots of candles and flowers. To finally lead you to your husband to be.
How it all began
Wesley and Kathryn tied the knot among their closest friends and family after planning their big day for many months. Scouring through social media and finding their best suppliers for the wedding day was something they longed to achieve. After all, this is a once in a lifetime occasion and both wanted the best.
After contacting us at Woodyatt Warner with regards to the decor for the big day, we put plans together and began the process of understanding their dreams. With over 15 years of industry experience providing venue dressing all over the UK, and having worked at Peckforton Castle on numerous weddings previously, our dedicated team of specialist Cheshire venue dressers were able to design the perfect white wedding they were after.
The day began with unloading all the equipment from the van into the Great Hall in the early hours of the 18th December 2024. After setting up all the blossom trees along the aisle, strategically placing them at the end of the rows of chairs. Our team decorated the stage area with stunning ornate multi stemmed tall glass candle holders, a huge white petal love heart and an all white blossom arch.
The registrars table was dressed with a long floral display of white hydrangeas, roses, peonies and ranunculus flowers of which were reflected in the giant white floral archway set up around the entrance door to the Great Hall.
A perfect white aisle carpet was rolled out leading from the floral arch, all the way to the stage. All the candles were lit and the scene was set for Wesley to have a quick look around before Kathryn was due to walk down the aisle to meet him.

After the Wedding Vows
With a thundering cheer and round of applause, the newly married couple began their journey as man and wife. Walking hand in hand back down the aisle under a cloud of confetti, smiling at each other, both Kathryn and Wesley had tied the knot.
A sparkling glass of champagne greeted them as they made their way out to the gardens followed by their guests for the wedding photos.
At this point, our team started to clear the Great Hall of all the decor and moved everything over to the Drawing Room ready for the wedding breakfast. The blossom trees placed on the guest tables, the huge blossom heart set up behind the Sweetheart Table and the candles to adorn the fireplace.
The aisle carpet was rolled back up and along with the the columns, were loaded back onto the van to be removed from the venue.
As soon as the Drawing Room was complete with all the decor in place, our work at Peckforton Castle came to an end. Our day was done, ready for the Bride and Groom to enjoy the rest of theirs.
All that was left to do was return at the end of the night to collect all the equipment ready for the next wedding.
